More than a race, the 2nd Annual Mopar Twin
25’s Irwindale is an event! You might even say there’s as much action
off the track as on. For example, head to the Midway area of Irwindale
Speedway and enjoy the many food offerings, sponsor displays and other
exhibits.
At the Mission Foods Taqueria, you’ll find the
famous De Anda family making their authentic tacos using Mission Foods
products. Wait till you see the DeAnda taco assembling experts make the
delicious tacos before your very eyes, featuring their famous
levitating salsa technique!
If you’re a racing history buff, the
Midway is stocked with fabulous books and videos available for
purchase. Racing historian Dick Wallen has compiled classic race
footage and comprehensive books detailing auto racing’s roots. With
titles such as “Roar from the Sixties: American Championship
Racing” and “Distant Thunder: When Midgets Were Mighty,” Wallen’s
booth is sure to offer a wonderful keepsake for race fans, young and
old.
Check out the hottest new speed equipment on
display in sponsor trailers and other displays. Mopar plans to bring
its big rig, and it’s jam-packed with speed goodies. And there will be
