What is a USAC Midget?
The USAC Midgets feature plenty of horsepower in compact, light cars: 350 horsepower in a 900lb car – fast & furious! These are quick "twitchy" cars, that reach speeds in excess of 140 mph at the end of each straightaway. We guarantee you'll see lots of passing!
Will there be famous drivers?
Yes. You'll see some of the finest short track drivers in the United States, including such USAC stars as Dave Darland, Kasey Kahne, J.J. Yeley, Dave Steele, Tracy Hines, A.J. and Aaron Fike, and Bobby East.
What is the Twin 25's format?
There will be two 25-lap features, which will be run "Monza Style." The starting order of the second race will be the reverse of the finishing order of the first. The winner of the first feature must win the second by starting dead last in order to collect the Prolong Super Lubricants bonus prize of $50,000 for winning both features.
What is Premier Racing Entertainment?
Premier Racing Entertainment was formed in 2002 specifically to promote the inaugural Indianapolis Twin 25's. The people at PRE also promote the world's largest hardcore racing trade show, The Performance Racing Industry Trade Show, now in it's 16th year. Over 30,000 racing industry members from 30 countries attend, and over 1,000 manufacturers of racing components exhibit. They also produce "the voice of the racing marketplace," Performance Racing Industry magazine.
